The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.
Our military clinic remains open and we’re continuing to provide healthcare services. Scheduled appointments and procedures are proceeding as planned, and new appointments continue to be booked.   1. Active Duty Only
    • Active Duty personnel are encouraged to sign their family member dependents up for dental insurance. Visit www.TRICARE.mil/Dental to learn more.
  2. Readiness needs take priority
  3. We don’t offer orthodontic services or off-base referrals for orthodontics. This is an out-of-pocket expense.
    • Members can get a copy of the “Commander Concurrence Letter” at the front desk in the dental clinic.

Dental Options Outside of Military Dental Clinics

For dental care outside of a military dental clinic, TRICARE offers dental coverage for service members, families and survivors. Additionally, retired service members, their families and certain survivors may qualify to purchase dental coverage through the Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program.
